The balance remaining on the orthotic order is payable at the time of orthotic collection. Please note that orthotic deposits are usually non-refundable as once an order is confirmed the process of manufacturing will begin shorthly thereafter.
Orthotics are usually ready in about 3 weeks from the time of ordering. On occasion they may arrive a few days earlier than this, however 3 weeks is the guideline time given to us by The Orthotic Group.
Rush orders usually arrive in 8-9 days from the time of order.
IMPORTANT Please read carefully.
The Clinic does not have an electronic payment facility. As such we do not accept credit card, debit card, laser, or any other bank card.
The Clinic does not generally offer credit to its patients or clients, except in extenuating circumstances, or as otherwise arranged and agreed with the treating Doctor.
The NHS does not have a reimbursement scheme for gait assessments, orthotic consults, or orthotic insoles, and as such patients are responsible for paying all fees to the Clinic associated with these services.
A portion of your orthotic insoles and/or assessment fees may be covered by private health insurance providers such as BUPA, AXA, SimplyHealth, or others. We invite all patients to speak directly with their health insurance providers to determine if they are covered for orthotic insoles and/or orthotic assessments, the amount of their coverage under their particular plan, and any and all stipulations, restrictions, or limitations regarding such cover.
Should you have coverage with your health insurance provider for orthotics, please note that you are still required to pay your orthotic deposit and balance at the time of ordering and collection respectively. The Clinic will provide you with dated receipts suitable for submission to your insurance company, indicating the services rendered and amounts paid for your orthotics.
Some insurance companies also require a "letter of clinical need" written by the Clinic and signed by the prescribing Doctor. Should you require such a letter, please be sure to let the Clinic know well in advance of your orthotic collection appointment so that we can have this letter ready for you on that day.
